Fatalistic swine – every cliff has its measure

Remember that famous scene in Gone With The Wind when Scarlett O’Hara (Vivien Leigh) falls down the stairs? Or how about an inebriated G.W. McLintock (John Wayne) helping Mrs. Warren (Yvonne De Carlo) up the main stairwell of the ranch house only to fall?

A lot of people still cringe when they think about such misfortunes and their outcomes. That’s because stairway and stairwell injuries (aka: “slip and falls”) are a common cause of serious personal injury – and sometimes, even death and lawsuits.

Fatalistic swine
