About the Artist
Robert McGregor (Mcgregor), Scottish, (1848-1922) was born England. He emigrated to Scotland about 1855, and died there in 1922. [DES-4/07]
It is a hard case, that a Gentleman shall educate his Son in all proper Learning, at a very great Expence, and then a Barber, Farrier, Sow-gelder, etc., shall have the Liberty to practice, and often get more Business, by pure Dint of Impudence.
