Léopold Desbrosses, French, (1821 — 1900). French painter and graphic artist, he
studied under Delaroche and Corot. Desbrosses first exhibited at the Salon in 1848 and was
awarded medals in 1885, 1895 and 1900.
If fruit was the first temptation, pork was probably the second.
