What do you see when you look at a pig? A kindred spirit, a creature much like you? And the very next moment, you see a beast, a stranger, just an animal. Now the pig is a fellow creature, like Freddy, Wilbur, Porky or Piglet… And now he’s just a mouthful of ham.
Life takes hours of time from us each day for words and actions, but we must make our own time for sleep. And we should carefully create and nurture that time. For sleep is not just a palliative to regenerate our body and our brain, it is also pleasant and safe to use.
Currents of thought are a common result of rainy days. Weather walking amongst it or listening to it from a chair or the door of a pig sty, rain inspires recollection and retrospection, contemplation and consideration.
