Frank McNie, Scotland/Canada (b. 1948), poetry includes: Perciville Pig. McNie is a poet and supports himself in the hospitality services – most recently as owner, with his wife, June, of Natara’s House, a guest house in Niagara-on-the-Lake and High Street Fish And Chips in Toronto.

Kathryn Mockler, Canada, (b. 1971), poetry includes: Malice. Mockler is a poet, writer, filmmaker, screenwriter and video artist. She teaches creative writing and screenwriting at the University of Western Ontario and is also the Toronto editor of Joylandand co-founder/co-editor of The Rusty Toque.

Garry Thomas Morse, Canada (contemporary), poetry includes: The Poet Reclining. Morse is a poet and fiction writer. He is the author of several books of poetry, including: Transversals for Orpheus (2006), Streams (2007), After Jack (2010), and Discovery Passages (2011), an exploration of his mother’s Kwakwaka’wakw First Nations ancestry.

Michael Brian Oliver, Canada (b. 1946), poetry includes: Pigs. Oliver is a critic, poet, and teacher. Oliver has also published critical reviews of fellow Canadian poets for various journals, and he has published the first critical study of the poetry of Alden Nowlan, Poet’s Progress (1978), and a followup Alden Nowlan and His Works (1990). He is the author of four collections of poetry including The Cinnamon Peeler and most recently, Handwriting. Also the author of numerous novels, plays and pieces of literary criticism, Ondaatje is the author of the transcendent novel The English Patient, which was later made into an Academy Award-winning film.

K.I. (Karen Ilene) Press, Canada (b. 1974), poetry includes: The Baby Turns into a Pig. Press is a poet, the author of three books of poetry and is on the faculty of the Creative Communications program at Red River College.

Frank Prewett, Canada (1893-1962), poetry includes: Rain Descends. Prewett was a poet. Born in Ontario, Prewett is obscure literary figure who spent most of his life in the United Kingdom. He was a war poet of World War I, serving in the Canadian Army and later in the Royal Field Artillery of the British Army. His poetry was recognized by inclusion in the final Georgian Poetry Anthology by Oxford Poetry, and by publication by the Hogarth Press.
