Master of the Alexander Romance [or Alexander Master], France (fl. c. 1420-50). The Master of the Alexander Romance was an illuminator active in France and named after the Romance of Alexander manuscript (c. 1440) in the British Library collection.

The Dutch History Bible is one of the most impressive achievements of Medieval Dutch manuscript painting. It is a continuous cycle of illustrations of the Bible with text translated into Dutch. The text is the work of two translators and eight separate artists worked on the illustrations.
